About The Event
Nartana Priya is an Indian Classical dance show with a transformative experience designed to captivate audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Directed by Dr. Pranitha Kamat under her initiative Natya Chittra, this festival brings together talented artists from Switzerland to collaborate, learn, and share the timeless beauty of Bharatanatyam.
This year, Nartana Priya is curated by Guru Sujatha Venkatesh, a distinguished teacher and choreographer based in Geneva. Under her guidance, the festival will revive and present rare, traditional choreographies from her esteemed teachers, Guru U.S. Krishna Rao (1912 – 2005) and Guru Chandrabhaga Devi (1921 – 1997) —pioneers who revolutionized Bharatanatyam with their innovative techniques and artistic vision.
